Whitaker Roofing did a great job making this a stress free and easy process. They got on the phone with me and my insurance company to help file the claim and keep communication with me the entire way which places my mind a easy about replacing my roof and gave me step by step updates on how the install process would happen. After a fairly severe hail storm, I received a door knock from Levi Hanson, a representative of Whitaker Roofing Company.  He was in his company truck and came prepared to fully inspect my roof, and knocked it out quickly.

Levi showed me the photos when he climbed down, and pointed out the high numbers of hail impacts that caused damage to my shingles and all of the soft metal on the roof, as well as a section of ridge cap that the thunderstorms had ripped off the roof.

He then grabbed a tarp, nails and a hammer before ascending the ladder the second time, to cover the exposed roof ridge cap to prevent water damage.

We talked about my present roof situation, about Whitaker Roofing and about my homeowners insurance.

Levi impressed me with his deep knowledge of his industry and the nature of the difficulty in dealing with Allstate Homeowners insurance claims.  Allstate can be difficult to deal with when compared to others in the Insurance space, and I was not looking forward to numerous calls, forms, meetings, inspections and all of the other minutia that has to fall in line in order to successfully navigate the claims process.

So, I decided to let Levi and Whitaker Roofing handle Allstate with the guarantee that I would only be on the hook for the deductible as stated in my policy.

Levi submitted the claim forms and evidence, I simply had to sign the forms; couldn't have been easier or less time consuming.

Over the next week I was copied on all messages and emails that were passed back and forth.  Then I received a message from my bank that Allstate had electronically deposited the claim payout, minus the deductible, and Levi wedged me into their quickly filling schedule for their local crew to knock out the remove/repair/replace roofing job.

Levi presented all of the materials samples and color choices and confirmed everything with his vendors and the crew for the scheduled date.

The day before work commenced, three pallets of roofing materials and replacement decking appeared in my driveway, and early the next morning the crew arrived and immediately went to work spreading large tarps all around my house and we're stripping off the old shingles within minutes.

The crew on the roof dropped the removed shingles directly on the tarps, while the ground crew constantly moved it off the tarps and into the industrial trash bin.  They made several passes around the house with their magnetic rakes to collect all nails for the trash bin.

By lunchtime they were already done replacing decking and starting on the new shingle system, and by 16:00 (4pm), they were finishing the cleanup.

The new roof looks fantastic, every line is straight and perfectly spaced, and the new ridge vents were moving the hot air out of the attic better than the old turbine style vents ever did.

Levi and Whitaker Roofing checked all of my  qualification boxes, (Licensed, insured, certified and a local presence.), and performed flawlessly in this major transaction I entrusted to them, and I could not be more pleased with both the experience and the results.

I've recommended Whitaker Roofing to all of my neighbors, and now to you the readers of this honest review.

We were very pleased with the whole process beginning with the  inspection all the way through getting the new roof installed.
Whitaker Roofing and Ashleigh and Scott did a great job in getting my insurance company to approve my claim for a new roof due to hail damage from a recent storm.
The crew that installed the roof were very nice,  cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job.
The roof looks great! I did initially feel confident choosing Whitaker because they also replaced several other roofs in the neighborhood which also look fantastic!
